Arrival day and orientation followed by five days on the water and a final day in Kugaaruk to view local art and/or charter north to the ice pack.

Start your sea kayaking adventure at the remote hamlet of Kugaaruk on the shores of the Arctic Ocean on Pelly Bay in Nunavut, Canada. You will be welcomed by friendly faces in one of the more traditional communities of the Canadian Arctic. Our guides are Inuit hunters who were born on the land near Kugaaruk and know the Arctic Ocean and environment better than anyone. The guides have had training in camp management, wilderness first aid and kayak rescue skills. They will be pleased to show you their knowledge of the waterways and land as well as share their cultural history.
