Journey to the Pelly Bay community of Kugaaruk in Nunavut and experience the world of the Netsilingmiut (People of the Seal), the Inuit who have inhabited this area of the Arctic Ocean coast for hundreds of years.

Kugaaruk is located on Pelly Bay on the Arctic Ocean about 400 km north of the Arctic Circle in the central Canadian Arctic. The hamlet features a hotel, restaurant and store as well as a unique stone church. With a growing population of 550, Kugaaruk more than makes up for its size with the warm welcome that Inuit residents extend to visitors.
